The Real Official I Spy Movie Review-w Owen Wilson and Eddie Murphy

I marked this one on my calendar, cause I honestly believe Owen Wilson is probably Hollywood's most underrated comedic actor. Sure he has had his misses, Zoolander just to mention one, but he has had his home runs, Meet the Parents and Shanghai Noon (upcoming Shanghai Knights sequel with Jackie Chan), and this film marks his entry into a true comic foray.

Based on the 1960's Robert Culp/Bill Cosby TV Series of the same name, updated with a current story line.

Wilson plays superspy, Alex Scott, working for the U.S, is called upon to retrieve a stealth bomber stolen by a successful arm's dealer. He is forced to team with a civillian, boxing champion Kelly Robsinson played by Eddie Murphy in a role tailored for him.

Wilson and Murphy work well together, and I Spy is an enoyable remake which I would recommend highly.

I spy is rated PG-13 for language and violence

My rating: 8.5 out of 10 or a B+

yeah ive been waiting on this movie i think ill enjoy it...

I was glad Eddie got into another movie and can try to cover up Pluto Nash as fast as possible ! I thought this movie was a good comical spy flick - A few gadgets to go aww cool over and of course the hot broad we all need in any spy movie - Overall it was entertaining and had some good comedy - I look forward to seeing it on a good rental copy(just dont like paying the theater prices for general releases) from BB or whoever - Cheers !

Went to go see this tonight (saving 8mile for tomarrow).... Damn good movie. Nearly pissed myself in the sewer scene, good action, and am really suprised it bombed.... :-/ *sigh*

One time, my cousin Walter got this cat stuck in his ass. True story. He bought it at our local mall so the whole fiasco wound up on the news, it was embarrassing for my relatives and all, but the next week he did it again, different cat, same results, complete with another trip to the emergency room! So I run into him a week later in the mall and he’s buying another cat and I says to ‘em "Jesus Walt, what are you doing? You know your just gonna get this cat stuck up your ass too, why don’t you knock it off?" And he says to me "Brodie, how the hell else am I supposed to get the gerbil out?" My cousin was a weird guy....
