Very little blotchiness in action scences (not like the transporter)
It's a lot brighter too. High Quality color. Definitely somethin u could lie to your noob friends about and tell em its a screener ;-)

Gotta go with a lower rating here. (could be a 7) I don't know if its my speakers or what, but there's a distinct couple of pops about halfway into CD1. If you got it, you hear it. Plz reply, Might be time for new speakers :/

I like to actually rate the film itself for quality.
Michelle's Kung Fu is still incredible.
There are some really good special effects in this movie . If i had to rate those, I'd say 8

I also believe this is correctly labled.

The picture is nice and sharp and not from VHS, but isn't good enough for a DVD-Rip, though its a bit blocky at times, but not worse than most.

The sound is clear and fine, but its mono, but most TC's ive saw are.

Still no complaints, nice release, movie looks ok too.

if a good dvd is a 10 then a poor dvd is a 9 and good screeners are almost as good as a poor dvd they are almost a 9. this is a good scr or telecine ot whatever. very viewable. the more the merrier, quality always goes up or the price drops with competition. i think this was good enough to be in svcd format. there are many new dvd players that support svcd. apex and jvc to name a couple. they are cheap and have a very good pic. any release of this quality should be in svcd format. the new high defination widescreen tvs when coupled with one of these new dvd players has an outstanding picture in svcd. personally i have that setup and i dont really want to dl anything under a 7 because the quality is so far below what my setup can produce.
i would rather rip dvds to svcd format than dl crap. who cares if its new, if u cant see it or hear it worth a shit.
