In case no one has noticed or mentioned, on the main page for the forums, the left vertical line stops above the "xbox discussion" link. It almost singles out this link instead of being uniform with the rest of the page. Just a little comment.

its supposed to be like that.

it means its its own section (ie doesn't come under "General") if we were to make a CDR forum and a DVDR forum under it, they'd have the vertical lines to indicate they weren't the parent forum.

I guess I'm not following the logic. It seems that the Parent topic is "general" and then the links are the sub-categories, allowing for post to be categorized under the specified topic.

-General (Parent)
--Movie Disc. (Sub)
--TV Disc. (Sub)

Your response lead me to think of this nature:

-General (Parent)
--Movie Disc. (Sub)
--TV Disc. (Sub)
-Xbox (Parent)
--back ups (Sub)
--MOd chips (Sub)

If you have the time a little better or more detailed explaination please. Sorry, I just couldn't sleep.

trying to think of a way..

if i explain the other forums you can't see...

theres an Admin Forum that has the style as the XBOX one (ie its not part of general either) and underneath that is a "Deleted Threads" forum, which is in the normal styling (because Admin Forum is the parent)

edit ::

maybe this will help.. if you click "Movie Discussion Forum" look at the top you'll see :

www.vcdquality.com forums > General > Webpage Suggestions/Comments/News

if you click "Xbox Discussion" you'll see

www.vcdquality.com forums > Xbox Discussion

if we'd made another section called "Consoles" it could be like "General" then include Xbox in that, Xbox would be like VCD Releases for example

Thank You Pho, I now understand. "xbox is another parent category, like "general" or "vcdgear.com" only not so pronounced as those two examples.
