i dont understand.. why waste time encoding a cam into svcd... god knows this is going to have the holy pisswater nuked out of it... come on people.. learn by others.. SVCD should only be used where it belongs.. DVD quality releases

this actually isnt bad at all i dont know why they encoded it in svcd but the sample looks good i saw the movie last friday it was a normal rob shneider flick but it was pretty good so ill get this 7/7/7

well, if this svcd cam is actually excepted , im gonna start capping commercials and releasing them as 2 hour svcd commercial sample discs. i bet i'll gain alot of affils with those.

this is actually not bad. Just cause they encoded to svcd let it be there choice being they are releasing it. and Yes I know Cam/TS should mostlikly be *VCD* but the quality is 10x better then what you would get from a groups such as Ateam*QVD*sWs*OBUS* Etc so props nice release guys
EDIT: And I forgot YAY for Proper Lable'n you know if Some other groups no names Mentioned would have named it a TS.
have any of you guys even looked at the sample? It's not that bad quality. Sure it's a little bigger, but personally I don't download on 56k, so I dont worry about a couple hundred mb more

Its shit release like this that make me want to beat the hell out of some ripping groups. They make the dumbest mistakes, and I swear I can rip vcd's better then half the groups out there, just give me the freaking sources.

the point is not that the video is watchable or the sound is barable.. the point is that the pic wouldve been better as a vcd... SVCD is a higher bitrate.. hence its just magnifying the videos flaw.. and also being a cam.. it was stupid to encode to svcd seeing how most svcd telesyncs are not allowed on sites.. and even more cams arent allowed on sites.. so an svcd cam is like haha i dont even know

Nice release...I saw the sample and its pretty good for a CAM.. theres a lil audience laughter but its ok, it is a CAM...i give it a 7/7/?..even if its encoded to SVCD i think its up to m0b to decide wether they want it like that or not...other than that...good job m0b..i'll be looking forward to future releases

hmmm...I'm not following your logic here. The idea is to get a digital copy that represents the original source as closely as possible. SVCD will achieve that goal better than VCD will.
I can understand people bitching about the size and the time spent....but you won't have a worse _quality_ copy if something is encoded to SVCD properly. The format has better specs.
how do you guys actually know if the quality would of been killed if it was a VCD? since we don't have the source, only they do, only they can accurately tell if it should be SVCD or VCD. I don't care if its an extra 300mb or whatever, 2 disks is 2 disks. The quality of this release LOOKS GOOD ENOUGH to be a svcd. I couldn't care if its a svcd or vcd since i have an apex and apex plays all =-/
