I hate January... I really do. There are NO good movies released this month, I mean, National Security? Just Married? Kanaroo Jack!? There is no Jebus in this most mundane of months for movies. There is only one halfway decent movie slated for this month... The Recruit, which could end up being a stinker, or halfway decent.

But REGARDLESS, I sit here, with a handful of beautiful DVD Screeners, reminising the last amazing month in the scene, and dreadfully looking forward to this dismal year of horrible asian silver TS's of 2003's shitty movies. *sigh* OK I'm done venting...

One time, my cousin Walter got this cat stuck in his ass. True story. He bought it at our local mall so the whole fiasco wound up on the news, it was embarrassing for my relatives and all, but the next week he did it again, different cat, same results, complete with another trip to the emergency room! So I run into him a week later in the mall and he’s buying another cat and I says to ‘em "Jesus Walt, what are you doing? You know your just gonna get this cat stuck up your ass too, why don’t you knock it off?" And he says to me "Brodie, how the hell else am I supposed to get the gerbil out?" My cousin was a weird guy....

about schmidt, city of god, the recruit..

may not be many films, but there are some good flicks among em. maybe the average american popcorn fan will go see city of god and realise his usual choice of movies sucks in comparison.

city of god & the recruit look pretty good. Haven't seen much advertising for city of god tho, but I've heard good things. Just waiting for the freaking dvdscr/retail. I'll be happy months from now :\
