DVD quality? You wish!
Great NFO but the quality is just HORRIBLE. Interlaced and blurry, close to VHS-Quality.
PDVDs often have all kind of audio formats. You can use a microphone track and make it DTS (and on PDVDs you often find qualities like that), so no matter if they put a DD 5.1 or even DTS 5.1 on it, it doesn't mean that it's real 5.1 audio.
Fact is there is no 5.1 track on the Laserdiscs (unlike Star Wars) and that's why I think the DD 5.1 track is some mixed together stuff (although the sample is too short for a real opinion about audio and I'm not gonna dl 4gigs to find out it's crap).
I might get some replies saying that "there's no better quality possible so don't complain" and I must say wrong. I've seen digital (progessive) WS TV rips of the Indiana Jones movies and they looked 10 times better than this.
Just a personal opinion and info for those who think this is close to dvd quality.
cheers
