Vin Diesel wanted 20 million for the part. Is he really worth that much? No. But I don't care if you put all of the coolest cars, boats and chicks in the movie. It's not going to matter because Vin Diesel is not in it. Several of my friends say they won't watch it because he's not in it. So I think Universal made a mistake by not signing him for the movie. If somehow a 3rd movie is made. My bet he's back on board.

The reason the first movies success was greatly helped by Vin Diesels part. Was their a lot of bad acting? Yes! Was there a crappy plot? Yes! But many people came out in droves anyways. And I don't think the reason was Ja Rule or Paul Walker.

i probably wouldn't watch it anyway. diesel is the most wooden actor in hollywood atm, and the least films with him the better.

Well, as much as i disagree with Spiderman2003 on his views on Terminator 3 , i have to say, i agree with him on this one 100%.
As much as it pains me to say it, this movie will suffer without Vin Diesel, as i cant see the current cast as that much of a draw at the box office.

this movie is going to be too low budget for good special effects. I personally like Vin as an actor and will be looking foward to the new pitch black movies he's making :P

Not spamming topics. Just like to talk about movies. The movie will do $50 million tops. And in this day and time with the price of the movie to get done. That's not very much.

Wether you like Vin Diesel or not. He is a box office draw. The ladys seem to come out to his movies now. I guess they think he looks go or whatever. Nevertheless, he sells tickets.

Vin diesel could be the worse actor in hollywood, but i dont think that not having him in this movie will matter much. The target audience for this film is there (sport compact racer types, and most teens) . The first made a bunch of money on a small budget and why wouldnt they make a sequel? I also think those friends of yours have to be chicks, lord knows all my female friends love the bastard.
