Thumbs up Review: Night of the Day of the Dawn of the....

Night of the Day of the Dawn of the Son of the Bride of the Return of the Revenge of the Terror of the Attack of the Evil, Mutant, Alien, Flesh Eating, Hellbound, Zombified Living Dead Part 2: In Shocking 2-D (1991)

This movie is Night of the Living Dead, with it's soundtrack completely erased, and replaced it with comedic dialogue to create a unique cinematic event.

After searching for months trying to find a copy of this film, I finally found a copy on eBay for around $10. Well right after I recieved it, I messaged my friends telling them it came. We immediatly set up plans for the weekend. When the weekend came along, we all got situated, and popped in the tape. What came after was a movie that changed my life.

Once the film started, there was no stopping it. It begins with some scrolling text stating some background info on why the zombies are there, and what is happening, Then it cuts directly into the Cemetary scene, where the Johnny and Barbra counterparts are visiting a grave. They are attacked by a homo, and Johnny is hurt. Then the homo chase ensues. Barbra makes it to the house, and meets Ben's counterpart. The story unfolds into hilarity, as the original Night of the Living Dead is turned into the funniest movie I've ever seen.

This is a movie that anyone who liked the original would enjoy, the comedy is 12 years old, but it's still funny as hell. I say if you can find a copy, get it right away. You won't be dissapointed. One problem I had with it is the fact that they would keep cutting into the film with stupid, unfunny clips, and homages. But some of them are hilarious.

I give this movie ***1/2 stars, great humour, great movie.
