need help - svcd wont play on sony dvd player.. header trick didnt work either

Been making svcds for a long time so i know what i am doing.

Although I have two stubborn sony dvd players that i cant make work. I tried the vcd header trick that i use for panny players, and it worked for one and not the other.

The one that didnt work just kept giving me a "no disc" type of error.

any ideas?

-thanx

i have a sony and it works fine with 'header' trick.

load up tmpegnc, find the mpeg file.

make sure it is selected to MPEG1 Video CD ( located file -> mpeg tools, multiplex )

hit output destinatin and go.

takes 5 mins on a p3 500.

get vcdeasy, and make sure its VCD1.1 for the Videocd creation in vcdeasy. This'll correct any mpeg1 errors and make a cue/bin which u can burn with nero or cdrwin or similar.

this method works EVERY time.

also if you're using RE-WRITABLES physcially erase the disc before every burn, not just file systems.
