SVCD is crap in action movies? WTF are you talking about...SVCD is almost DVD Quality, and I've never seen a really bad SVCD...

Good release JAR a big improvement from ALI. If you want an SVCD, download the DivX and convert it to SVCD using TMPGEnc ^^

i agree, svcd bitrate is far higher than DivX (low motion anyway, and a well done SBC encode is HUGE.) and is far less compressed.

A bitrate of 2100kbit avg multi-pass encode should handle most action sequences with ease.

It's a little blurred but beyond that it's great... The framerate is beautiful, and the colours are right on (well, it was a screener not a camcorder!)

My only complaint would be it's a *little* blurry... That's it.

Get a few buck out of your wallet and get a TV out card then play a DivX on your TV you know 27" or 65" and then come back on this board and make your comments! SVCD is close to DVD quality. DivX is DVD quality nuff said!
