couldn't be bothered to continue the old post, as it had gone off topic, but anyway heres my reasons

1. No Linda Hamilton. definitely one of the best characters of the series (especially her transition from scared young woman in the original to hard as nails mentally torn apart psycho in the 2nd. the character both films revolve around due to her being the mother of john and her relationship with kyle)

2. No Eddie Furlong. to write out his character would be impossible, so we get the standard "different actor in same characters role". excellent, that always works *SO* well.

3. No James Cameron. originally a prominent name on the cast/crew list, now he's only credited with Character Creation. so basically - he walked out. who's his replacement - Johnathan "U-571" Mostow. a man who's not even created whats close to being a worthwhile movie. not the ideal choice.

4. The Terminatrix. what a great idea, make a sexy terminator! im sorry. thats the dumbest thing i've ever heard.

5. The new poster - top half has a very 80s feeling terminator headshot on it. very cool, works well. bottom half? awful cgi endoskeleton landscape. with a female endoskeleton. why would the machines create something that looked feminine? answer - they wouldn't . its just stupid effects without thought.

6. Those trailers. ok, a film shouldn't need that many trailers/teasers to convince me its good. the two films that look like the biggest overhyped stinkers of the year (hulk and t3) both have a hella lot of trailers. in the terminators case, the latest one looks like a mash of CGI and bad STV style sequences.

7. Summer release. if it was released any other time, it would flop. the sequences in the trailers look very complete, and have done for a long time now. the film is ready, they just don't want us to see it.

8. Is ROLLINS in this movie? no. point proven.

(ok i wanted an even number, so i thought i'd vent some punisher frustration here again )

at the end of the day, it might be a watchable film, it might be half decent. i very very much doubt it'll have a scratch on T1/T2 (and the relationships between them) it smells like a bought off franchise, and it don't smell good.

I also heard that the old Terminator music wouldn't be making an appearance in T3. You know the one.......DER DER DER.......DER DER DER DER........DER DER DER.........DER DER DER...DER.

This is definetly a mistake by the makers of T3. I'm sure the movie will be pretty entertaining, but with so much from the previous 2 films missing how's this one gonna fit in?

t3 will probably make good money in the box office..

by watching the trailor..it seems action packed...a lot of explosions.....a lot of money was spent on the movie..
