So, after watching the CTP release of the film, I have to say that Identity bloody rocked. I think there's only about 3 films that match up to that film so far, the first being, Two Towers, Phone Booth and Dreamcatcher.

I think the twist within the film was amazing. I was on the edge of my seat throughout the whole film.

Yes it was great..next time check around and see if a thread exsists. There is a review of Identity under review and you could've added your comments there.

And you thought Dreamcatcher was equal to Identity and TTT?
I thought Dreamcatcher was one of the most disappointing movie so far this year. But then again very few Stephen King books are done well on the big screen

This movie sucked..... how the hell did the kid get the explosives to blow up the car.....kill the guy outside the bathroom with a knife....make the mom get in the way of that car...make the dad get hit by the truck..... and suddenly all the doctors believe that he has killed off 6 other personalities.....wow where did they get their schooling from...this film was just rushed i think......that part when all of them find out they had the same birthday sucked....I wish they would have let the killer be an ancient indian guy or something because the hotel was on a burial ground....I just feel like a whole lotta bull was added and not enough good content to provide an explanation.....I give it 2 out of 5 stars...

First I apologize for not placing spoilers at the beginning of my statements....second it only shows that you attacked me for my comments instead of telling me what was good about the movie....the last thirteen minutes were not mentioned because the first 80 minutes were not worth anything....that's why the last 13 minutes were thrown at you to explain all the bullcrap that didn't make sense and the person responsible for killings was not an option for me. They could have also made up another character and said "oh he's the killer" cause the killerhas no reason whatsoever to be the killer......quick ending for a quirky movie that could not tie it all in and finally decided to flip a quarter and assign the killings to someone on the sideline.

Again 2 out of 5 stars

And thank you for your personal comments petrocs...it really shows your maturity and being able to handle a negative review on a movie that you liked..

Well, I found the movie to be very original. Without giving away the ending. Did you guys have any idea the last 13 minutes would be like it was? I thought all of those guys sitting at the table were talking about the tall blonde guy killer. But as the movie went along. I came to the conclusion that couldn't be the case.

Yes yes, Identity is littered with plot holes and unanswered questions
-the kid blowing up the car, killing the much larger young husband, and almost getting that bathroom door open
-the apparent extra cell phone battery for the actress' phone
-Ray Liotta (being a transferred prisoner) somehow getting a knife into the cop car, and miraculously getting out of the locked backseat after stabbing the cop

...but given the fact that the whole movie outside of the court room was inside the killer's head, then you can disregard everything. That said, the movie was excellent, very creepy and pretty violent. Liotta and John Cusack were awesome, and the rest of the cast did a great job too.
A lot of people complain about the kid being the killer, but it didnt bother me.

I recommend this movie to anyone, except for those assholes who always think they can solve the whodunit 5 minutes into the movie, and claim they knew all along after the credits roll. Those people should be shot.

Oh yeah and Dreamcatcher was one of the worst movies in recent years. Awesome book, good first 40 minutes of the movie, who knew it could turn out so shitty.
