When I heard about this movie, I wanted to throw up as even though I am one of the few people who liked The Original, I didn't want to see them make a sequel. If you remember the original starred Paul Walker who plays undercover cop Brian O'Conner who was assigned to bring down electronics thieves in the form of Vin Diesel, who became untouchable price wise after this movie, and he was smart to pass up on the sequel.

Paul Walker returns as a former cop, he quit his job so to speak at the end of the original, but comes back to team up with his ex-con pal, Roman Pearce, played by Tyrese as undercover agents who team up with a female undercover agent, played by the absolutely beautiful Eva Mendes to bring down a formidable drug trafficker named Carter Verone, played by Cole Hauser, in another bad guy role for him, who has eluded authorities.

So its the trios job to bring him down.

2 Fast Furious is an okay story, but i expected a lot more out of John Singleton as he has made far more superior movies, Boys n the Hood, Rosewood, and 2 Fast 2 Furious is ok.

The thing that makes the movie plausible and watchable is the custom cars they built for this film.

Even with the lousy story line, 2 Fast 2 Furious I would recommend only for the car action, and the non prescence of Vin Diesel.

2 Fast 2 Furious has not yet been rated and opens in theatres on June 6, 2003.

My rating: It gets a 6.5 out of 10.
Ludacris will play Taj, a friend of Walker's character.

I personally hated the first film but have a lot of friends who really liked it. I didn't expect anything from the sequel and if you ask me NOT having Vin Diesel is a bonus. I'll probably see it...maybe on Ch5 in about 4 years while waiting for some softcore porn.

One time, my cousin Walter got this cat stuck in his ass. True story. He bought it at our local mall so the whole fiasco wound up on the news, it was embarrassing for my relatives and all, but the next week he did it again, different cat, same results, complete with another trip to the emergency room! Just got back from the screening of this, and it was OK. Oppossed to MG i thought the movie kind of lacked from lossing the characters from the original. The ending totally setup for yet another one of these flicks, sigh
