 Review:Dumb and Dumberer:When Harry Met Lloyd (2003)
Whomever made this movie should be shot with a shotgun autogauge. Unless Jim Carey or Jeff Daniels were involved then maybe this movie would have gotten a chance, but when the new comedy , the Prequel to the Smash Movie, came out I didnt want to see it., but as a critic I came into the movie with an open mind, so i left it alone, but boy was my 90 minutes of my life was wasted, 90 minutes I will never got back.
The Prequel to the smash hit movie, Dumb and Dumber takes us on the adventures of Harry and Lloyd, the two friends, who put the word Stupid back into stupid. Harry (played by Sean Penn Lookalike, Derek Richardson), and Lloyd (in a dead on makeup job for Jim Carey's Character in the original) are two guys that are trying to fit in in High School, and are constantly harrased by everyone. So to redeem face, they join up in a outsiders versus the school plot. reminiscent of the more superior Revenge of the Nerds Movie.
The film is just plain awful, as I found myself looking more at my watch that sitting through another one of these movies.
I was sad to see Eugene Levy, one of Hollywood's most famous character actors around today was totally wasted in a roll that he hoped to break out of.
Like the movie Bruce Alnighty, the best parts of Dumb and Dumberer was in the previews.
Whomever greenlighted this movie at New Line Cinema Pictures should be fired for making this stinker of a movie.
Dumber and Dumberer is rated PG13 for complete and total stupidity, and should be avoided at all costs.
This movie replaces "Freddy Got Fingered" as my choice for all time worse Movies.
And a scale of one to ten, this movie gets a solid 0.

i know its a deep film n all.
doesnt even look funny in the previews.. and i loved the first one
