Review: Unknown Artist - Bossa *PROMO VINYL* (2003)

This one landed with a big thud in to my mp3 folder afer this evening's rummage round the internet for fine electronic audio aural treats. Now, due to it's sheer brilliance, it's become a permanent fixture on my Winamp playlist.

As the dirname says, there is no information on who made this, but my god, i wish they would unmask themselves. This is pure, deep, tribal house at it's finest. Deep skipping drums and a sexy bassline and kickdrum intertwine with the sexiest filtered bossa hook i've ever heard to fuck you sideways and then some.

The track is marginally let down by the slightly euro-dance falvoured male vocal, but this happens rarely and does not detract from the fact that this is one STONKER of a tune. Sounding like something straight from the 1210's of Twilo or Sound Factory or 45o records, this is immense, heavy, deep, fucked up deep house that you'll be lapping up for weeks, even months on end.

Miss this at your peril, i dare you. I double dare you motherfucker.
