Same same but different
Well i compare this version with the jinx version of the same movie.
Neither one is good in my mind but both are watchable.
I prefer NTSC but legion released this one in PAL.
So the screen got very small and something was cropped in the lower right FX something, just saw the top.
This movie is more blocky than Jinx but its sharper.
I had to lower the brightness to make the movie darker otherwise the "blocks" would have made this movie unwatchable.
So most of the blocks vanished.
I think that the previous posts here are just a joke since you are going to rate and tell about the movie other than saying its good so other users can get an opionion if this movie is something for them. The pal conversion with my apex 1500 was flawless. At least legion knows how to encode, maybe you can teach a few at centropy how its done. Legion is doing a good job encoding it so that there is no synch problem the quality on this release was better then jinks version when it comes to sharpness but that the trade you have to make more sharp more "blocks".
As always when watching pal on ntsc the picture get a little bit flatten but it was not that bad and hardly noticeable. unless you toggle between ntsc and pal, You will see the difference but its not that bad.
I do prefer jinks version since the screen is bigger and the pictures is not too soft. but its less blocky than legion.
When the picture is darkened the picture get better and it not that bad. If the picture was bigger I would prefer this version over the jinx one. So if you dont mind small picture, Get this one and darkened the picture. If you want NTSC and a little bit bigger screen get the jinx one.
