Review: Scary Movie 3 (2003)

wow.

and here's me thinking the series still had hope after the abomination that was Scary Movie 2.

this is even worse. absolute shite. i'm going to wait outside the theater and laugh as people pay money to see this garbage.

not even worth a rating out of 10.

Scary Movie 3 is such a stinkfest its hard to put it in words. It makes movies like Malibu's Most Wanted look like Oscar material, lets just say that.

The original Scary Movie was great fun, one of the better 90s spoof movies, coming from a great team who previously rocked our world with Dont Be A Menace to South Central Whilst Drinking Your Juice in the Hood. But what the hell happened?! After the tragedy that was Scary Movie 2, i thought the cast and crew change would help matters, but its even worse.

Within 20mins i'd smiled twice. Not one laugh, the jokes were recycled and originality was obviously no factor. The fact that at this point in writing, the majority of people on this site have voted it 10/10 has made me feel physically ill. When there's great flicks like School of Rock out, which actually have jokes that are *gasp* funny, anyone wasting their money on tripe like this needs their head examined.

its not out here till friday. basically my mind says

"second sequal? last in the series was utter horseshit? hmmm try before you buy!"

if it was any good, i probably would've gone to see it with my friends, but it wasn't. it was dogwank. hell, i would've been so pissed if i'd paid to have seen that. im thinking of sueing and demanding those lost minutes of my life back , so i can do something useful with them, like scratch my ass.

I'm not gonna write a review for this one, but I thought it was infinately better than part 2 (you can't get any worse than that abomination). The jokes are thrown out so fast, most don't sink in, some work, a lot don't. But the bottom line was it kept me laughing.
The movie is sooooooo incredibly stupid, so don't expect a movie at all, but I still liked it.

7/10

Note: I paid to see it, I didn't want to, but I'm glad I did.

While SM 3 was not great. It was definitely better than 2. I at least laughed some in this movie. 6/10
