What is the UK/Ireland Release date for Freddy vs Jason?

This movie was supposed to be released in the UK/Ireland on 15th August but it wasnt.

I called the cinema and they said the release date was delayed by the studio and they did not know when it is going to be released.

Does anyone know the release date?
I am in Ireland but we always have the same release dates as the UK.

Dunno what you mean mate. F vs J was released on the 15th

Maybe the cinema meant it would be delayed there or maybe someone was having a laugh with you.

Oh so it was released in the UK then but not in Ireland.
Im in Ireland and we always get the same release date as the UK for every other movie.
I am very sure it didnt come out here yet

Heres an Idea, check the newspaper, it will tell you when F V J will be released in Ireland.
