Judging from the sample so far...video is top notch and the sound is good too, though there's no dialouge in the sample so it's hard to tell overall. I'll update once it's done downloading and I can see the rest of the release.

I hope they got the subs figured out...Chakra really messed them up on their release.

It seems grainier than the R1 rip, but its good none the less. Audio is great too. DVDR of this will be fucking nice.

damn, every time one of these kill bill rlses comes out I'm @ work.....

has anyone seen either one of the cds yet? If this is in fact the Japanese version I read it doesn't come with an english soundtrack, can anyone verify this??

Ok wtf I downloaded this version and its supposed to be in FULL COLOR right well I think not.

A) first 40 seconds or so before the bride goes to kill Vivica A FOX the scenes with her and Bill are in BLACK AND WHITE.

B) There is absolutely NO ENGLISH SUBS in this release.

C) can anyone tell me if the entire movie is in english ? IT would stink if they are speanking japanese and there is no english subs. UNCUT version my a$$

All of the scenes that take place in the wedding chapel *includes the beginning where she is shot* was b/w anyway. In vol.2 those scenes are all b/w and no violence. The big question I want answered.... Is the Crazy88 scene in full color for this rls? If so, I want this one...

I checked the sample, and it seemed in colour. What I want to know is, is the movie in english dialog, and when they speak japanese, do english subs come up for this SVCD release.

On the disc there are no hard coded (forced) subs for the Japanese parts there is only the English and Japanese subtitles throughout the entire film (there is also a second Japanese track but I don’t know what that is for) so I don’t think anyone can proper this release.

Nice quality, great rip, exactly as you would want a DVDRIP to be.

I too wouldn't mind a PROPER of this one with the Japanese subtitles intact.. , but damn ppl just be happy for this free DVD rls.. Uncut is the only way to watch it, and besides i've seen it enuff that i understand the Japanese parts.. All that blood in tact, OH YEAH, i'm happy

shit man, I held off downloading the last svcd dvd rip for the uncut, and now the uncut gets here and it doesnt have subtitles. the last releases sub titles were fucked up too. why oh why do groups have such a hard time doing this? movies that have subtitle scenes NEED THEM INTATC! I dont know japanese

I really have no idea which release to download, because both have subtitle fuck ups.

and the amount of energy I'd have to spend to put the subtitles in this release would probably be more energy than id like to use...

Can anybody compare the quality to Chakra's R1 rip? Is the quality of this release up to par?

As for subtitles, before everybody gets annoyed they are not there... concidering this is actually a japanese source... are you sure they are even present/included on the dvd ?

I saw a site selling the R3 Asian dvd and it stated (I believe) it does have subs. I have the Chakra rls you mentioned and the subs are "readable", although dark. I actually liked the TCF version because it had the subs hardcoded on the actual screen image like it was in theaters. I've seen vol.1 so many times, so for me not having subs on this uncut rls is ok... though, I would prefer to have them for sure.
