how do i encode a movie that is upside down the right way up using mainconcept to dvd-r ???

Been a long time since I've seen a "my video is upside down" post!

OK, the movie is not upside down. Something on your system is making it play the wrong way up. Did you by any chance install a codec pack?

(BTW Jenny, it was the bicubic resizer filter that used to be in the Nimo codec pack that caused many of these "upside down" problems. Completely unecessary these days as modern video cards will do the resize through hardware.)

If u still havin probs with codecs , you can run through v.dub . - in video - filters - flip . this will turn it back for you ! but it is a codec problem. try dif players , try vlc it plays anything & has its own codecs.so it wont relie on the ones on pc.Hope this helps.

that's a ludicrous suggestion. Re-encode the video?

Find out what codecs are being used when you play the avi, by using gspot.

Nuke them all.

Install ffdshow.

Sorted.
