Just read this on another site, and the poster of this comment made some excellent points:
"At least an NFO, but is unclear in several respects.
Lang: Eng/Fr, then below lists audio as DD5.1. So you used a huge chunk of non-compressable bandwidth on French 5.1....?
Subtitles: Spanish; stripped out the Eng Subs, save about 1/4 cents of bandwidth (?)
All Extras Kept? What about the audio commentaries? Not listed.....
CCE 8 pass, but what was the ultimate target bit rate? Were the extras done at a lower level, or the same as the main movie?
Post is ISO, so it will take a fair amount of time and effort to grab a chunk and find out what they really did.
Sorry to bing this up, but such info is much more important than listing cast, story, and other junk easily gotten on IMDB or a hundred other places.
This flick has been posted at least 3 times in the past year, with various levels of (smart or not so smart) choices. IMHO (take it or leave it) there are so many extras on these disks that the bit rate is seriously hammered for an action flick, in reducing it to a dvd5. I would recommend splitting the disk into main/extras, cce the main if needed, and see what the bit rate is then. Usually the left extras is smaller than a dvd5."
Just checked a sample, (of the first one) and the quality is not very good at all. Very grainy, even for a movie made in the early 80's. I would give it a 4/6/?
