Backing up my DVD's....

Just bought the newest version of DVD X Copy, and it wont let me backup any of my dvds. Says that they are all CSS encrypted (Duh) and that it wont do it. Any way around this?

Use decent software? Go get yourself anydvd seeing as you like spending money unnecessarily, or just get dvd decrypter.

Google.com is funky.

Admin?

Yep, get DVDShrink and DVD Decrypter (both free) and you're sorted. Fuck DVDXCopy and fuck CSS protection

DVD Shrink is a wonder. Unless you're a perfection freak, it's rare to need something like Rebuilder. I doubt most people could tell the difference anyway.

If more people were perfection freaks, P2P wouldn't be the fucking wasteland it is today.

How much longer does it take to rip an mp3 with eac over audiocatalyst?

lame over xing?

rebuilder over dvdshrink?

yeah, there's a learning curve, but if you're gonna spend 90+ minutes looking at the screen, or an hour listening to the album, do it right in the first place and you'll have no problems.

There's lots of stuff i have to get through p2p because there's just no other way of getting it. Some of it's good quality. Most of it's shit, because the people releasing it use these one-click apps, or shitty encoders, or whatever.

I'll admit i've played with dvdshrink and it's the best of a bad bunch, and fucking free as well, so if i get asked what to use by anyone who just ain't gonna get the hang of anything that involves more than one click, i'll tell them to use dvdshrink, but if you consider yourself to care about quality at all, do it properly.
