Need help with some sound

Hi all..

I currently have a movie, which has two types of sound on it. One is French and one is English.

What I need to know are - how do I switch betwen these two channels, since when I preview it now in media player, I have both French and English playing at the same time, and I only need English to play. (Which through comments, I've learnt are on channel 2)

Video playback programs I make use of are Media Player (latest version) and PowerDVD XP.
The movie is in DivX format and has AC3 aswell.

Use Media Player classic. It will handle multiple soundtracks. Or use VirtualDubMod to remove the tracks you don't need. Google will sort you out.

Power DVD should give you the option of choosing one or the other audio tracks.

BTW - This isn't really an encoding question, its a playback question. On the encoding side, track 80 should be the primary audio stream and 81 the secondary. It is really rare for a U.S. dvd for anything other than an english audio stream to be on track 80. Who encoded this vid? It seems funky.
