Instant Copy is Fucked!!! Can u help?

Alright.....I'm a fanatic when it comes to backing up my dvds. And my little method of using Decrypter & Instant Copy has worked like a charm for a long time now and this is the first time I've EVER run into an issue.....so I must say that i'm quite attached to this method.
"Final Cut" is the film that's giving me the problem. It ripped quite nicely with Decrypter, but when I go to resize the bugger with Pinnacle, I get this:

Oddly, this is only happenning with this one flick. Anyone have any ideas on how to resolve this?

Thanks, but I did both of those things before posting. Unfortunately, they didn't help. I googled it and came up with a dead end (there was a poorly translated page, and something to do with the "skin file" but it literally had "DANGER-PROCEED AT YOUR OWN RISK" written all over it. ----->LINK

Anyone have any other ideas?

Hmm ... InstantCopy seems to know something you don't: Final Cut was awful. Maybe you should take its advice and throw the movie away.

Alright.....I agree......this POS flick sucked gigantic, sweaty, festering monkey nuts. But for some odd reason my girl liked it (she loves Robin Williams - that hairy bastard). And besides.....i'd really like to sort out the problem before this happens on a film that I really do want a backup of if at all possible........Thanks in advance to anyone who can actually help.

Admin?

If all you want to do is backup the DVD for personal use, just use DVDShrink and set it to rip to ISO format (which can still be burnt with DVDDecrypter). On some rare occaisions you'll find DVDShrink can't cope with the protection, in that case - Rip to FILES with DVDDecrpter and then Shrink the buggers to ISO.

... Like I said, it's cheap and nasty but quick and painless too

I would use DVDRemake to strip out all the extra's/BS that you don't want, and then if necessary, use DVD Rebuilder (which can use one of many encoders) to encode what is left to a DVD.

Thanks guys. I ended up using Neversoft's "cheap & nasty" to get the fucker to work. still haven't fixed the instantcopy problem, but i guess if i've got another method that works just as well, I won't have to worry bout it!

i use that method occasionaly. normally i will just shrink it straight-off but a couple of times i have had rented dvds from blockbuster, they dont have a mark on them and it says 'Data Error, cycle redundancy check' but i do it in dvd decrypter and it works fine
