Joining TELECINE War Of The Worlds

Essentially when i download the SVCD releases i will rip the MPEG's out of the bins and then use MPEG-VCR to join them, this has never given me a problem until the recent release... War.Of.The.Worlds.TC.SVCD

For some reason the sound/video go tottaly out of sync past halfway through the movie... it's like the audio is at the right pseed but the video is super accelerated...

Just wondeing ig anyone else has noticed this and your workaround

I have tried a few other joiners and have had not had any better results... What is so different about these recent MPG compared to the other dozen i combined earlier... ??

Cheers, If this post is not in the appropiate forum please move accordingly.

1. you havent said how you rip the bin files to mpeg

2. is the sound out of sync at that point or after you join them ?

3. it cound be your conversion programe if its ok on the original mpeg

4. I use vcd easy to rip the mpeg and tmpeg to join them and then tmpeg to reconvert to dvd format

thats the best result for me , usually one click cheap programmes give audio sync issues

go to doom9.org and find out how to do it properly

hope this helps

yeah ive experienced a problem w/ the same movie but different issue. I extract the mpeg's w/ isobuster, merge w/ Tmpgenc and encode to m2v and mp2 files for later authoring to Vob files for my dvd-r's. They merge fine and I can watch the movie no prob w/ any PC vid player but when I try to encode it, it seems to have an issue somewhere around disk 3.It just stops encoding and the movie continues w/out any video. Ive also had the same issue w/ a few select sources in the past. I know this doesnt help but I thought Id atleast xpress that I feel your aggravation. afterdawn.com is another source u may want to try for your movie related issues.
