Please don't flame me for asking this noob question.

Why is it that there is a VCD category and a SVCD Category but in the VCD category there will be SVCDs listed as well as VCDs?

I have always wondered this?

"VCD" releases on the frontpage are really just synomious with CAM/TS/TC/SCREENER releases. And some of those happen to be encoded in SVCD.
