This isnt the R1, this is South American R4. Asks if you want the English or Spanish menus. Spanish menus dont work but can be selected. No Subs work either anywhere. Sucks... Gay group with a mislabeled release. I'll wait for the proper R1.

Forgive me for my ignorance but trying to understand something here. Region 4 subs should have Australia and New Zealand, Mexico, the Caribbean, and South America subs. Also i keep hearing Russian is Region 4? Now looking back in time ...

I dont think i seen Portuguese menu or subs on TUBE's DVDR? Correct me if im wrong but didnt you say Robots IGUANA was definatly region 4 with Portuguese menu and subs? ... but yet TUBE's release doesnt have that. Why is that?

Checking your previous posts i have seen you cut down releases from all the best grps such as: TGP, MPTDVD, JKR, XPDVD, MOD, IGUANA, RIDERz, ThP, Replica, FCR, CoRRuPT, BHP, Centropy. Normally some idiot would say "if you can do better id like to see you try", but i wouldnt even say that to you cause i know if you cut down their releases your not in any of those groups and you cant do better.

Point being besides Replica and XPDVD who keep providing us through hard times with good DVD's seeing other "new" groups, probably old ones with new names *guessing*, releasing DVDR's, first i noticed JKR when they released 'Dominion Prequel To The Exorcist' then 'Aliens of the Deep', then TUBE who not only has been providing very watchable and nice quality screeners, unlike VideoCD & COBRA 9th gen screeeners but now moving onto retail DVD's.

Do you watch movies in spanish or need english & spanish subs - are you hearing impaired? If your like me and not, you dont need subs so i couldnt give two shits about them anyway and wont break my back if a group messes up and rips them out.

The Scene .. whats left of it, is starting to look half normal again besides the 100 re-encode groups. We need more compitition out there so props to TUBE and hope theres more. Not many groups left with real sources besides a handful of 15 only reason i question this.

Movie looks great on standalone, i couldnt give two shits about subs. Keep em comming DVDR groups

1 more Question for ya seeing your so bright n stuff. If this isnt region 1 what different will Region 1 have besides im guessing French subs? From the majority of DVDR's i have downloaded most have French subs which i never use or bother to look at. Only real need for French subs is i guess only speak/read french and dont know english or you plan on sellin which is bad ...

lots of people like subs on their dvd, i do it to help my kids read better. with it being on the screen they have no choice but to watch and listen at the same time. subs taking up very minimal space on the disk means no group has to rip them. i also disagree with your statement, just because you are not in a scene release group doesnt mean you arent as good as them, it just means you dont have the same sources as them. the difference on this would probably be quality of the picture if anything depending on the amount of the audio tracks that are on the original dvd. i want to see this but i will wait a bit longer i think.

I wasnt excusing the fact that the subs are missing. SUBS are required on all DVD's which everyone knows. Error on the group yes.

What i was more curious about was why call a group Gay when their trying to bring new stuff out. Not many groups with real sources anymore and we should welcome them if they dont mess up the encode. In this case with TUBE's DVDR, only thing i can see wrong is the subs are missing.

Major messing up the encode, PDVD labling DVDRip, Unmarked DVDScreener labled as DVDRip, in some cases labling TC's as DVDRip, re-encoding Torrent movies and calling it your own source, propering groups with their own source - i can see those being enough reasons to call a group gay.

Next i was curious about these region things. I see it nuked on vcdquality and JoshNya flammed the group saying it was R4. Yet 1 month ago on IGUANA release he claimed Portuguese menu/subs proved region 4 ... none of which the TUBE DVDR has.

Even with subs the only difference being would be the french subs i didnt notice them but do your kids honestly read french subs? Thats if the DVD comes with it.

Movie looks great on standalone and menu was good also, seeing how i dont need or have a use for subs unless its a movie like "Kill Bill" this copy will work for me. No encoding flaws & menu is there.

I do agree there is a quality difference between Region 3 and Region 1. For some reason i dont know if its source or encoding but Region 1 does seem to be more crisp and nicer on my standalone players. This release from TUBE looks just as crisp as Replica's War of the Worlds a few days ago.

ya looks like a typo on my part with one post. Didn't know I would be under a magnifying glass.

R3 NTSC Asian JAP/THAI/KOR/CHIN... so forth
R4 NTSC South American... SPA/PORT ... so forth

Theres also NTSC R1 USA and R1 Canada, only difference (usually) is just the cover. But I have seen a couple of language menus on the french candian dvds, but not many. Pure USA R1 DVDs don't have langange menus. It's simply English all the way, unless the movie is a foreign flick, but even then, they dont have language menus.

/me still waiting for the REAL R1 on this one. (with working subs)

I posted on the quality i was just basically curious about the R4 nuke as i seen so many different definitions/posts on what region 4 was, IGUANA Robots for example had 1 now TUBE's has another.

All these long posts sum up to a simple question, what was region 4.

Seeing how HafVCD did the SVCD and iNCiTE did the PROPER XViD and claim they didnt reencode it from the TUBE DVDR and they have their own source. You would think there would be a PROPER DVDR out by now with subs ....

... but of course iNCiTE who hasnt released a pre retail in months gained a pre retail supplier overnight and their too lazy to release a PROPER DVDR
