certainly not dvdscr quality but in my opinion it looks like a very good vhs screener so definitely worth downloading.

When was the last time you guys actually watched a VHS, and if you believe this is VHS then are you watching it on a 14-21Inch TV.

VHS blown up to a normal size TV (32" and Over) looks like shite, even a high quality VCR on a brand new tape, this is either from a SVHS tape, not that common, a very poorly mastered DVD Screener or some sort of Analogue capture of a Digital Source.

Prob best to wait for the Retail, but if you need to watch quickly then this is very watchable, dark stuff isnt perfect, but light is nice, and sound, although 2.0 is still great sounding when upmixed through DPL2.

first half hour is outa sync. fact.

dark colours (mostly black) are a strange metallica blue colour

not out of sync too much to really notice. and to the wankers who keep telling us to stop complaining....we arent complaining. just because we rate a release crap, and bag the crap out of hte noob group hydro for being ,well, noobs, does not mean we arent ungrateful. by all means this is hte best release out, there is nothing better at the moment so for that we are grateful, but it is still a shit release. and hyro are still a shit group.

defintely not a dvd screener... or even source... not a telecine, no reel artifacts... maybe a very very well done telesync, hd cam maybe, though I didn't notice cigarette burns... heavily filtered...
change the brightness and contrast a lil bit and it look ALOT like a ts.... anywyas

hrm...perhaps instead of bashing hydro, people should be commending them for their resourcefullness. i highly doubt unless they resorted to an analogue capture of the most likely copy protected dvd screener they got, we wouldn't have anything. and technically, they weren't lying about the source, it was a dvd screener. they just didn't do a direct, digital rip of the disc and had an intermediary analogue step. so facts:
-this is not a workprint, it's a real dvd screener. and most certainly not a ts...haha
-the sound is fine because it is an analogue capture as well (rca most likely)

so rating this release as it is:
