now i dont really know too much about trivium, other than their singer ruined the previous albums with his fucking screaming.

well it seems he has abandoned all that for this latest album from them and ive got to say its blindingly good.

technical, intricate, heavy and melodic - everything a decent metal band should be imo.

my only gripe is that some tracks sound VERY similar to early metallica stuff but they say themselves that metallica are a very heavy influence on their sound.

on the whole i really like this album, opinions ?
