I've seen the movie before that's why I've rated it. Can't rate on this release tho cos the dimwits have ripped ALL the sound.

Should be *nuked* NO Audio Tracks on whole image

V=9
A=0 No sound
M No comment as movie unwatchable due to no soundtrack

Gspot also reports that there is no audio stream present on any of the VOB files

I have now burnt the image to DVD-R and tried playing it on My stand alone player (Sony). There is NO audio on any of the 3 streams listed.

can't think anything other than the 2 previous posters need to sort out their codec packages cos I now have approx 60% of this and although have only skimmed through the film and will not rate the movie itself, the sound is perfect!

viewed the incomplete download using VLC and the sound is excellent. Great release by a group I have not heard of before. congrats to Original, apologies due I think from the 2 posters above!

Dunno if Themawnster is watching the same release here.
There is definately no audio on this, i've tried all 3 streams & nada!
Odd thing is tho when played using Power DVD, it does say it's playing Dolby Digital 5.1 @ 448Kbps. it just has no actual sound to it.
The only audio I did get was the FOX Searchlight intro that plays just before the main menu came up.

Also, this looks like a one clicker to me too. Picture is not that great at all, very grainy.
Why keep all the useless trailers at the start? The extra's shoulda gone on this too as that woulda given precious extra bitrate to the movie itself.
At times it's playing at less than 2.0Mbps, which is just horrible!

I really hope a respectable group proper this as it's an awesome movie!

I reckon I MUST have a different copy of this as I have a perfect picture and perfect sound and i can't think that the others on this thread are ALL wrong. This is what I have : History.Boys.2006.DVDRIP.XVID.CD1-ORIGINAL and the same for CD2. So my sincere apologies to all as I am clearly commenting on the "XVID" release and making a total diddy of myself here.......slinks away quietly

You do have the wrong version This is the thread for the full dvd rip 4.32 GB. And I think that Themawnster also is commenting on the "XVID" Version as well.


I'm surprised it hasn't been Nuked on this site yet.
