when i ope firefox not one page i try to open opens. instead i get a box asking what i should do with a index.php file. i tried opening it with firefox but it just opens a box asking the same thing. im going in circles here. any help?

try changing your home page to a working site.

Backup then delete your Firefox profile. It's located at:

C:\Documents and Settings\[User Name]\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\

then give it a whirl.

Either that or just create a new profile before wiping out your old one. Check here http://www.mozilla.org/support/firefox/profile
