Only places this was nuked on was sites that dont follow svcd council rules. Wish someone would make up their damn minds on setting standards. =( Leeched it looks and sounds great. To hell with the nukers.

Ummm.....

DEiTY knows the SVCD 2002 standards and there is nothing wrong with this rip.
So what if its 3 disks, thats the rules and they go by the rules because they're a good group.
ESOTERiC's release was nuked for a few reasons on alot of sites.
192 audio = not standard for SVCD releases.
1710 bitrate = under the minimum bitrate of the 1750 standard.

I am no way flaming ESOTERiC , they are a great group and release nice looking VCD's .

So you got it backwards, this non nuke , ESOTERiC's nuke .

DEiTY ... over bitrated with duel 224k audio, skips on dvd players
3rd cd only takes 1/2 of cd
113 min = 2cds

I'll be d/l ESOTERiC, whoever made the 192k audio nuke rule is simply retarded... groups been doing it for years... and theres nothing wrong with 1700+k video

erm do your math, its not over bitrated for dual audio. Plays fine and dandy. Time to get rid of them shit pioneers. As CraZy pointed out there are standards which almost every group participates in with the exception of TCF, ESOTERiC, TDi blah blah. With the exception of TCF who actually releases alot of releases still, they should have nothing to say. ESOTERiC's was nuked on a majority of sites who want quality. 192 bitrate also does not comply with 100% standalones whereas 224 does. Which is why the standard is in place.

Well then why does my 2 DVD players play them?

Last I checked DEiTY never signed nothing in that lame SVCD Council, just using it as an excuse.

They only needed 1 audio track, I could almost take that 2nd audio track out, glue all 3 pieces together, and cut it in half to make 2 cds.

This is a total shit rip!

What's so lame about setting standards? You do realize that there is probably a dozen so called 'rules' enforced when it comes to svcds. Alot of sites wont even take below 1700 or 1800 bitrate then again others dont give a rats ass. As long as its early they will take it. Thats why the above mentioned groups dont give a crap about standards. Well thats ok, they can do propers that will sit on their affils or to the few sites that dont give a crap what the rip looks like.

The proper looked and played beautifully. Too bad Woody Allen isn't worth 2 cds, so it's definatly not worth 3cds. If I want flawless bitrate, I'll buy the DVD.

DEiTY only made, what, 3-4 SVCDs?? ESOTERiC made at least 20 times as many. I also go with experience. I can smell a DVD2SVCD newbie rip a mile away. And I've seen this newbie gripe before, all SVCD groups learn from this same exact experience, and I guarantee DEiTY won't do this again. Maybe when DEiTY has some experience under their belt, then their gripe will hold some water. Untill then you just have to go with experience. Good job ESOTERiC, if they wouldn't have done the proper some other group would have.
