Why call it special olympics when it's really the intellectual disabilities olympics?

Special Olympics started in Victoria in 1975 and has been growing ever since. Victoria has participated in all National Games and every World Summer Games since 1987. Special Olympics is active in all states of Australia and the ACT
I think they should ban the special olympics. Its not fair making those that are less fortunate than ourselves compete for our amusement. It's just wrong.
