Looking for games

All games I'm going to mention are for the pc.

I am going through Call of Duty 4 for the second time, and am on the 3rd act.

I got Gears of War but I haven't gotten my vid card in the mail yet so I haven't been able to play it really, It plays with my 6200 but I have to play it in windowed mode.

I also got crysis but it doesn't play to well with my 6200.

Are there games similar to these 3 for the pc? I need more. They won't last me long enough.

Call of Duty 4. 4 out of 4 stars, I love that game.

Any of the ones you tried at my place 2 weeks ago tweak your interest? Give them another go this Wednesday, you might be surprised.

Since you liked COD4, maybe give battlefield 1942 or battlefield 2 a go. Granted both are older but still have the same type of game play as the COD series. I no longer play them any longer so they're not on my systems but I did really enjoy 1942 quite a bit.

Surprised you're not firing up SWBF2 again.

Graw2 on the 360 yeah, pc probably not. Team fortress? NOPE. Not my cup of tea.

For some reason, no matter what resolution I play Gears on it's jumpy, I can play at 300x400 or so and it's still jumpy, It plays exactly the same way at 1680x1050 so I don't get it. I wanna play that game, I'm getting into it, and can't play it because it's playing like shit. I tried everything I can think of. No go.

Gears was bad ass on the 360 went throug hit with my buddy.

My cousin let me borrow Gears of War recently and I've only popped it in once...for about 5 minutes. It looks lovely in 1080i. Anyways, I really have to get used to the controls, I'm so used to playing shooters on the PC (mind you the last one I played was Soldier of Fortune 2). I've heard that it's a wicked game so I'll definitely have to be playing some more within the next couple days. Thought I'd share.

Installing GOW now and gonna see if it will actually play on my system since I did a clean reinstall of XP. Some of my systems it wont play at all (live.exe error at startup) and even after trying numerous fixes and the patch it still wont work. And this game is published by Microsoft?!?! As I told para my theory, I think they purposely knackered this game on the PC so you'll go out and buy a XBox 360 just to play it. Fuckers.

Team Fortress 2 kicks ass as one of the best online multiplayer games. End of discussion.
