My laptop wont play pc games on it!

Can anyone help me with my computer, it wont play pc game and does anyone know why, do i have to get game playing software on it or something.

What game are you trying to play?
What exactly isn't working?
Are you getting any error messages?
What operating system are you running?
Have you checked the minimum hardware/software requirements on the game?

Give us a detailed list of your laptop's hardware including proc, ram, video card, sound card, and operating system. Depending on what game you are trying to run, you might not meet the recommended system requirements (minimal usually means it will barely run if at all).

My PC also has an error in which things do stuff and then the thingy on the desktop wont work... My PC is made by Intel and has 250gb of memory and a 17" monitor.
