Woof I say

goggled iTunes DRM removers: Audio capturing software

* SoundTaxi (Shareware/Windows) can remove copy-protection from iTunes 6+ AAC files as well as from many other online music services.
Although SoundTaxi re-encodes your files, it can keep the artist, song title, year and album metadata.
Soundtaxi Pro+VideoRip can convert DRM protected iTunes M4P video files to MPEG-4 videos.

* TuneBite (Shareware/Windows) can remove copy-protection from iTunes 4+ AAC files and from Windows Media Player.
Although TuneBite re-encodes your files, it can keep the artist, song title, year and album metadata.
Tunebite Platinum can remove copy-protection from iTunes M4P, M4V video files.

* Daniusoft WMA MP3 Converter (Shareware/Windows) can remove copy-protection from iTunes 6 AAC, M4A, M4P, M4V files and from WMA, WMV Windows Media files.
Although Daniusoft WMA MP3 Converter re-encodes your files, it can keep ID3 tags like artist and title. Please note that it can convert DRM-protected audio and video files to DRM-free audio files only.

* MuvAudio (Shareware/Windows) can remove copy-protection from m4a, m4v and mp4 files if they can be played with Windows Media Player.
Please note that it can convert DRM-protected audio and video files to DRM-free audio files only.

* NoteBurner (Shareware/Windows) can remove copy-protection from WMA, .M4P, .M4A, .M4B by burning them to a virtual CD and ripping them afterwards. When ripping from the virtual audio CD, NoteBurner keeps the artist, song title, year and album metadata.

* freeTunes (Shareware/Windows) can remove copy-protection from iTunes 6+ AAC, MP4, M4V files and from Windows Media Player.
Although freeTunes re-encodes your files, it can keep ID3 tags like artist and title. Please note that it can convert DRM-protected audio and video files to DRM-free audio files only.

* Replay Music (Shareware/Windows) can remove copy-protection from iTunes AAC files and from any other online music service.
Replay Music re-encodes your files to MP3 format. The good thing is that it uses proprietary MoodLogic song recognition technology to identify each song after it's recorded, and adds the artist and song name information to each MP3 file.

* FairGame (Freeware/MacOSX) can remove copy-protection from iTunes AAC files
Although FairGame re-encodes protected AAC files into unprotected AAC music, it can keep original metadata, lyrics and artwork.

iTunes DRM removers: Lossless DRM removal software

* QTFairUse 6 (Freeware/Windows) can remove copy-protection from iTunes 6+ AAC files.
QTFairUse 6 is a free lossless DRM removal software. Unfortunately QTFairUse 6 doesn't preserve the artist, song title, year and album metadata.

* JHymn (Freeware/Windows) can remove copy-protection iTunes 3,4, 5 AAC files
JHymn is a free lossless DRM removal tool that preserves metadata. Unfortunately it doesn't work with iTunes 6
