I'd say in about 5-10 years our Video game experience could be that good. Actually even better. This new CGI/technology will and can become mainstream eventually.
I'm sure it's still in development, in the next year or two we will see movies using this type of technology and eventually it'll dwindle down to video games.
The next gen systems coming out in say 2-3 years won't be using this type of technology. I'd say by the time the Xbox 1080 comes out then we will. lol..
Yeah, this vid was on Digg a couple of weeks ago... Pretty fuckin' impressive although the real breakthrough will be when they can render something as sexy as me (my cock alone probably requires 10x more polygons than her face)*
