I have a banned xbox 360 which means no xbla or live, and for the most part that has been fine with me. Now, with the recent drop in prices I'm able to pick a brand new Arcade 360 for 100 notes.

My question is thus, if i set them up side by side and continue to play backups on one and legit stuff over live with the other will i have problems when i swap the HDD back and forth between the two? Will M$ detect backups on my hdd on the legit machine, just because its being used on the banned machine and ban it?

No, thats how I have mine set up. Got mine banned when the bannings started and bought a new one pretty much straight away, and been swapping the hard drive between them since.
