Exclamation Technical Networking Question

ok so for my buddy i setup a desktop for him and put in a wireless network card and cracked a WEP secured wireless network of someone in his neighborhood. the signal can only be picked up if he has that PC in a certain area of only one room of his house. so now i have setup a second PC for him in his living room to which ive hooked it to his 52" plasma. ok so what im wanting to know is.... how do i, if possible, put a regular wired network card in the 2nd computer and run it with Cat5 ethernet cable to the computer with the wirless card in it. can i put a wired card and a wireless pci cards into the 1st computer. wireless card to steal the signal than network both of them together with wired cards? id ultimately like to beable to do internet connection sharing through it so the computer hooked to the tv can browse the internet. i know i can make a direct connection via usb but that really only does 1/2 of what id like. any feedback would be great. diagram below

Admin?

It sounds like you generally know what you're doing with PC's so you should be ok with this:

You're basically wanting to "bridge" the connections, it's not so hard...

(assuming you're talking about PC's running XP)

Just one point - if you really are going to just run an Ethernet cable direct between the two machines, it'll need to be a cross-over cable.

If you have a hub or switch in between then you'll need a straight cable.
