I've had numerous XDA's, smart phones over the years.
its the 'do it all' aspect I'm drawn to i guess. But i only ever used each one
for a few weeks then found it to bulky just a pain to use.

I resisted the 1st iPhone, but in a moment of weakness
i popped down the shops and got me a large portion of the new 3g iphone.

admittedly it was the Unlimited data contract that hooked the deal for me.

i must say, the lack of windows mobile is making it a pleasure to use.

am i alone here ?

If its anything like the interface on the Ipod Touch, and I believe it is, then yes I found it very easy to use and was impressed with it.

If you've got a legit one then I'm assuming you have got it on O2, how much are you paying a month and how many inclusive minutes/texts do you get?

i tell ya what, the break did me a world of good.

but i didn't sit on my ass, i went back to Thailand for a while.
Spent some time with a few pals in the movie biz
talked with stuntmen from the new street-fighter movie just wrapped
and missed my cameo roll on the new van dam flick by days

they wasn't filming that bit until after i would be back here in the UK.

OngBak 2 was looking DAM FINE, its gonna be the martial arts flick of 2008-2009
those into these films prepare to be amazed at the growing skills of Panom Yeerum.

After discovering that this 3g model isn't compatible
with almost all other ipod accessories, or more to the point Charging.

(the 12v charging pins don't go anywhere)

there is hope in the form of this



the 1st of its kind and many more to follow i guess.

Now i wonder if with the above adaptor, will it work with my in-car ipod connector?

ohhh man where do i start.


well first off, i can say DONT DO IT

the more apps i downloaded the more it crashed.
But no Dropped calls.....

3G signal is crap, and speeds are more like EDGE
and im in London with excellent coverage.
But no dropped calls....

updated the firmware each time and now im on the latest...

and NOW i get dropped calls. like 2 in every 5 are dropped mid way.
that's if it allows me to make a call in the 1st place.



but all moaning aside, i would say im 40% happy
compared to 100% when i first got it.

i never thought the lack of cut-n-paste and mms would bother me.
but now i find it a real drag.

Iv asked the same question to the few people i no that have 1 and the answers are along the same lines.

Once you get over the wow "its a iphone" its downhill from there .

Id love the iphone to have a 5mp camera, id be all over it !!

But theres too any missing features that are "standard" these days .

Im probably gonna pass it up as much as it hurts the gadget whore inside me
