Anybody having any problems with the upgrade to the newer versions of VLC? I've had to go back to 0.8.6.....even the latest 0.9.4 is problematic for me: When I click on an avi sometimes I get sound but no video. Other times when i do get video the first few seconds of the video are missing. Lastly when I close vlc i get a crash error. What happened?
The biggest drawback for me is that I can't play a DVD by simply right-clicking on the folder. I have to open the main VLC program then navigate to the wanted directory. It's probably something I did wrong during installation? Also it's not nearly as good as MPC for playing Windows media files.
I don't really like what they've done to the playlist window either in the new VLC, I've been using GOMPlayer more and more... Created a HID remote file for it and everything cos I'm a lazy cunt
