I was wondering why somebody wouldn't just release a sync-fix.

HLS did release a sync-fix. I was surprised to see ULTRASON on here because they are a french ripping group that does xvid's and MULTI language DVD-R's.

Wall-E SYNCFiX DVDRip XViD-HLS is for the Larceny release, but from what I understand the ULTRASON and Larceny releases are identical.

They have the same video stream but the the audio is synced differentely. So applying HLS's fix to the ULTRASON release will just fuck it up even more. Grab the Larceny + HLS fix.

I can confirm that. If you want to repair the Ultrason, add about 175ms using one of the vdub flavors.

Even so, there's still something "odd" about both rips. With synch repaired, both play perfectly on my computer with MPC or VLC. But on my Oppo standalone, they are seriously out of synch...Go figure! This is not a request for help, but if anyone has knowledge of this kind of phenomenon in general (Certain standalones going out of synch on particular avis), I'd sure like to know about it.
