Watch the original: 'A Tale of Two Sisters' (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0453518/) - it will blow you away, one of the best horror movies ever made, it'll scare the shit out of you.

In fact, check out virtually any of Kim Ji-woon's movies and you will begin to sense the absolute class that Korea is churning out in terms of filmmakers: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0453518/ - I would very, very strongly recommend 'The Quiet Family' and 'A Bittersweet Life'. The Quiet Family will keep you guessing all the way...you're never sure what genre it is...and it doesn't ever conform to any, but is brilliant at being everything. A Bittersweet Life will have you gripped within the first 5 of the slickest minutes you'll ever see in a movie.
