aka parasiticgannon

You'd be much better off building it yourself, You'd get a much better deal.

If your not into gaming at all, you can get a mobo with onboard video Nvidia 8 series with HDMI, DVI, and VGA out, with On board sound. Onboard NIC, with at least 6 usb ports.

you have plenty of options.

It's love baby!

New Intel i7 nice. Newest kid on the block from Intel.

3gigs is all you're gonna see anyway running XP Home edition (x86). You need 64 bit for 4 or more gigs.

Have to agree with para this is over kill in general unless your running a lot of intensive programs (ie. video encoding, graphics, etc) at the same time and don't play games you could easily build a system to meet your needs for a lot less.

I've not got time to build my own (at the moment) and to be honest I would know what I was doing but I would fuck up somewhere along the line.

I'm extremely clumsy I drop things on a regular basis and pull and push things into a PC as if it was an articulated truck.
I just want to spoil myself and buy a PC for a grand.

I think I'll buy it.
