M S bloody N

almost all of my contacts in msn have at one time or another had that thin in their msn that
bloody keeps sending me links to see photos of whatever.

naturally ive never clicked any, but what is it? some sort of trojan has infected their msn or virus?

I've tried telling them, and many times they ask how to remove it.
is there any good info on this phenomenon out there?

Admin?

Yep, it's a trojan... Their best bet is to run the PC through several AV scanners and Malware cleaners (like Spybot) - they may not find it though. Oh, and MSN will probably be broken if they do clean it. Chances are they'll end up reinstalling Windows which, considering how they got in this situation in the first place, will probably go realy really badly

Another thing they should do is change their account password. My friend's MSN account was sending me those weird spammy messages every few days and it didn't matter which country he was currently in or which computer he was using. After changing his password they stopped.

I have no friends and am devoid of any human contact. Those spam links are the only things keeping me going. One man's spam is another man's lifeline.
