seems im losing my drug coverage....i am now expected to pay into my plan for a rider at 5 grand a year....this sucks cause just as its happenning i am now gonna start some maintenance drugs that will cost about 2.5 g a year

i want to look into self coverage but google doesnt give me anything i can trust....any one here have a seperate plan covering medication solely?

Besides the useless info I pm'd.... Does your employer offer a health care spending account? That way you could at least contribute pre-tax dollars and use that money for your prescriptions.

I used to carry my own insurance through an independent Blue Cross provided. It cost me about 100/month for me and my boy and provided actually better overall coverage than my shit ass work plan did, including prescriptions for 15 and 20 bucks.


Might be worth checking out the local insurance peeps to see.
