ok i got a phone...i got the usb adapter and i installed the driver...the computer recognized the fuckin phone even before i found a driver...it also says device is ready to use... but i cant find it in My Fuckin Computer

most phones won't automatically show up as a drive you very often have to set it as to be ready for data transfer through one application or driver install or another. would help if you mentioned phone make/model and which version of windows you're using though.

its my old samsung sch-a670 and xp

i also have to do the same to my lg ux8300 and a audiovox cdm-180

but lets worry about the first one first

Most of the time you do need the software that comes with the phone.

I know you can see some of the newer phones as a drive but that phone's about 200 years old isn't it.

Have you got the software that came with it ?

if it's anything like a shit mp3 player I used to have, it will detect as a certain kind of device and might not be accessible via a drive letter.

still tryin to work it out...it recognizes the drivers..the drive and the fact that something is connected but it cant open...i think i might have a bullshit data cable...im gonna try one of the other fones when i get the head for more frustration...but that cable is the same manufacturer
