meh, this superbowl was great but last years with the giants was downright amazing, first time I actually went out of my way to re-watch a superbowl game.

Great game, although it had a lot to do with how poor the defence and keepers were on the night.
Saying that, I'd prefer to watch a game like that than a cagey 0-0, which is what happens all too often in big games.

I would like to see another Chelsea Vs. Man u final again, this time without it going to penalties. (It will probably end up Barc V Arse now I've said that).

Finally got to watch it. Some fucker cancelled all my UEFA recordings and I had to DL it.

WTF is up with Čech??? He rarely lets in goals at all yet the last 5 games or so, league and non, he has let in boatloads. Now they are gonna miss Cole first leg which only makes their defense that much weaker. Lot of easy chances missed by chelsea as well.

Was not impressed by Liverpools play overall. Too much reliance on Yossi and Kout as usual to do all the legwork. Not raggin on Gerrard as I know he was marked tighter than a virgins asshole.

Overall a great game simply because of the pace and pressure/goals that came out of it. Most of that was due to a lack of play sadly.

Was a great game, lots of mistakes but a great game nonetheless. I think Bakkoda mixed up the the 1st leg with the 2nd leg.

Just to correct the original poster, the best game of football ever was played out at 'Roots Hall' this very afternoon.

Only just saw this thread.

Yeah, was a fantastic game. Had already accepted we were out after the first leg, so I could actually enjoy it instead of biting my nails all the way through...but must admit when we went 2 up I thought it was another Istanbul in the making

The 4-4 against Arse wasn't too bad either. 7 second half goals, 6 minutes of injury with an equaliser...

Funny how about a third of the way through the season most had us labelled as boring; now we're the most exciting team in England (apparently). Personally I'd prefer boring 1-0 victories to these nail-biting wonderful end-to-end draws. (Between Arse and Chavs for the 8 goals combined they managed 10 shots on target, LFC had 24 for our 8 goals )
