I doubt it will blow up because the corruption is endemic across all of the political parties so they'll do whatever they can (even cooperate with each other for a change!) to make sure they don't get fisted. Any investigations will be covered up, conclusions watered down, recommendations ignored or bastardised until they're useless... The net result will be some minor changes that all parties agree on, claim is a triumph for democracy and decency and then continue to claim for stuff that every "normal" person in the UK has to pay for themselves. Then, in a year or two a new expenses scandal will break and the whole bullshit starts again.

Been there, done that, got the T-shirt.

I'm pretty unimpressed with these MP fuckers at the moment. They've turned on the "speaker of the house" and ousted him but the fact is, although he might have been complacent with regards to MP's taking the piss with expenses but he isn't the one who claimed money back for HAVING THEIR FUCKING MOAT CLEANED, claiming for dog food or claiming for a mortgage that doesn't exist. The way they've behaved recently in a desperate effort to scapegoat the man is disgusting, we need a revolution to rid ourselves of each and every one of those thieving fucks.

How much does it cost to clean a moat? How many hospital patients could be treated with that money or how many school exercise books could've been bought with it?

I understand that being an MP has it's expenses but those should be for costs directly related to the job just like any other employer. You know, hotel accommodation, travel, rent boys but not fucking food, moats, cleaners and all of the other shit these greedy bastards have been claiming for.
