Any of you got any kind of fish tank setup?

Well here's my new tank and thought maybe at least 1 of you may have a marine/tropical tank

That was the tank before i bought it, currently going through a cycle to maturity, and water tests b4 i start adding more live rock/corals and fish

I can't see the point of fish tanks, it's the only "pet" that can be accurately simulated on a fucking computer.

My brother is well into em though, his tank is better than yours and you suck (although the fat cunt probably eats/rapes them).

I reckon you should let us name the fishes but baring in mind we're naming ugly, goggle-eyed creatures that stink of fish they're all going to end up being called Gezzer

(you realise that vid is like porn to Gezzer don't you? That dirty fucker is all about fish!)

My psychiatrist recommended i get some sort of fish tank to relieve myself of stress

Plus saves putting the main light on in the room and looks better when uv is on

There are no fish in there yet i have to check the tank for a few things and add another 25ks of live rock a few shrimp cleaners and snails then start adding fish slowly, couple of clown fish etc
Tank is around 4ft and can hold around 12 to 14 fish, if all goes well then it goes into my sons room in a year, and i get 1 custom built
Gezzer may like his fish but i thought he was interested in the larger kind

Soon as fish start rolling in i'll name 1 after you lol and 1 of 2 other members here, maybe an idea to post pic of fish and decide who gets the nomination


Also came back with 50kg of live sand that i had to clean and 220ltrs of the ro water (salt water purified) and that fucker was heavy to move

i got a fish tank....theres nuthin better than lighting up and zoning out to some mindless fish watching....its a 55 gallon and i only keep small school fish....much better to watch than some giant oscars that can barely turn around before they get to the other side....

right now i have ghost shrimp... khuli loaches... bumblebee gobies....1 red taled black shark...a school of glowing zebra danios... 3 female siamese fighting fish(yes you can keep females together)...and a bunch of platies...and some other asst shit

i got the tank full of caves and crevaces so theres tons of shit for them to dart in and out of

i never got involved with marine fish but they payoff in visuals if you can keep em...i go for the cheap doesnt matter if they die shit...but the oddity fishes i have makes up for it

pets you can't run around with and play with or actually have FUN with to one extent or another annoy me, in other words dogs are basically the only viable pets.

Fish are okay if you want some type of dynamic decoration in your home I guess, too much work for such a thing though (especially if you're using salt water).

The worst is birds though, people who keep birds as pets deserve to go to a very special level of hell.

Nice fish looter some strange looking fish you have but yeh when light is on you can just relax and watch the fish swim around mines 260ltr tank not sure how many gallons off the top of my head though

i got some of them fish here, but not the bumblebee ones or the female siamese.
i do have a male

most i cant remember the names for.
but i do have two of these



and these two teeny small frogs that live under water they shoot up to the top gram some air then shoot back to the bottom.
these two are fine with the other fish, but when i walk in the room they give it the large and start head butting the glass to get at me.

also two of these



thease fuckers (when spooked) can dive under the sand and ya dont see the fuckers for 2 days.



i want more, but my local place hasnt much in lately.


i like feeding em live blood worms and sea monkeys.
fuckers go crazy like crack heads for it lol

Art you can buy fish on line, they get delivered by specialist courier firms, and insured for 72 hrs after delivery.

If you cant find any give me a shout and will point you in the right direction.

I do have better pics but for some reason the size on them are out of whack, will switch the pic i put up originally as the 1 above is a bit dark and cant see his colour properly

i used to have them frogs...there are 2 types the ones with little legs are called dwarf frogs

..these stay about an inch and a half.....i was never able to keep em cause they are too slow in finding food....i even tried floating plants where they would stay all day...they still wouldnt look for food even when fry was swimming in and around em

the ones with fat legs are called african clawed frogs.
...those grow to about the size of a fist...well maybe not your lump hammer hand but a human fist at least...these guys will grow and eat anything smaller than thier mouth

i also had eels called spiny eels...the ones i had dont grow past 6-8 inches but were a pain in the ass to feed....live blackworms that burrow and foul up the water....also pain in the ass to get and keep(in the fridge) so i gave em up

this one is called a peacock spiny....i also had some tire track eels...the fire eels get up to 3 feet long

funny thing though, i thought one of my shrimp died the other day
when i saw it laying dead at the bottom of the tank.
but then no? there they still where. both of them still swimming about the tank????
so i guess this 3rd one was a shell/skin that was shed like a snake when it grows right?
